🎨 Design Concept

This model is a stylised 3D version of me at a work gala - complete with a blue-and-gold macaw that was also attending the event! The design merges personal storytelling with creative modelling, translating a real photograph into a “Cube Me" collectible style character.

The proportions are softened and simplified to emphasise charm and approachability, while maintaining recognisable details like the black-and-white patterned dress, matching shoes, and arm pose with the bird. The goal was to create a print-ready collectible that balances realism, whimsy, and technical efficiency.

- Infill: 15 % (adaptive cubic)

- Approx Print Time: ≈ 2 hrs 20 mins single colour PLA | 1 day 3 hours seven colour PLA

✨ Final Result

The physical print was completed in plain white PLA, highlighting the crisp layer detail and form. A colour render shows how the model would appear when printed in multi-colour PLA - accurately reflecting the gala outfit and the macaw’s vivid plumage.

Creating this model was both a technical and sentimental project: turning a special memory into a tangible keepsake. The finished piece captures the joy of that night and the creative potential of 3D design and printing.
